A timely new comedy about nuns and chicken sandwiches with lots of dance music! Sister Mary Catherine is a young enthusiastic nun eager to promote the sisterhood to young women of her generation. She unwittingly falls in with a swarmy Hollywood TV exec and he convinces her that he knows the perfect solution to recruit more young women to take the vow. He creates the first reality competition ever filmed inside the convent called Break The Habit where the nuns are featured as competitors. Mary Catherine convinces the Reverend Mother to let the film crew in - and Our Lady of Perpetual Eleganza will never be the same.

Audacity: A Celebration Of American History

Audacity is a quick trip through the words, sounds and sights of many important African-American history makers.  Hear the words of Maya Angelou and Langston Hughes, remember Jesse Owens Olympic feats, snap to the sounds of Ella Fitzgerald and discover a plethora of inventions by people of color delivered in a contemporary spoken word style by a talented troupe of players. Special presentation on The Freedom Riders to follow performance.

11th Annual New Play Competition, a showcase of literary talent

Preview Night - March 5
Six local playwrights compete for a chance to win $1,000 cash and bragging rights for the entire year. Audience members vote for their favorite one-act play - all six shows are staged each night (each show long longer than 20 minutes). On closing night, we tally the votes and award the cash and prizes. It's an unprecedented night of original works.

One of Shakespeare's most popular plays featuring TeCo's T-An-T (Teenagers and Theater) Apprenticeship students.  Partnerships include the Dallas County Juvenile Department and the Volunteer Center of North Texas truancy program.
